Strength and Fitness

Livestrong at the YMCA

This free, 12-week program meets twice a week for 90 minutes.  Participants work with YMCA staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. Feisty Fit Females

Feisty Fit Females, a free exercise group for women cancer survivors, meets the final Thursday of most months from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at 1341 West Caley Avenue in Littleton, CO 80120.  They are dedicated to helping women with cancer be more physically fit and well.  For more information or directions, please call 303-798-7614 or 720-635-3823.

CancerFit: An Exercise Program for Cancer Survivors

Yoga and Mindfulness

Breathe Now

Breathe Now, a program of the Dear Jack Foundation, utilizes yoga, meditation, and breath work during pivotal stages of adolescent and young adult cancer treatment and survivorship to heal the mind and body and help restore balance and peace.  The Breathe Now yoga meetups are complimentary and are open to all young adult cancer survivors between the ages of 18–39. 

Energy Healing and Body Work

LifeSpark is a non-profit organization that provides FREE Reiki and Healing Touch wellness therapies that transform the experience of dealing with cancer.  You will be matched with an experienced Healing Touch or Reiki LifeSpark provider and 12 weekly LifeSpark sessions are scheduled at a time and location convenient for you.  Family members are caregivers of cancer patients are also eligible.  For more information, please call 303-249-1988.
